Serving 65 Libraries in Southeast Michigan

The Library Network is a public library cooperative serving 65 libraries in southeast Michigan. Our mission is to provide and facilitate quality services developed through collaboration of our member libraries. We are funded by the state and by our member libraries.
From the Director's Desk
Welcome to The Library Network (TLN). From acquisitions to cataloging, circulation control to account management, delivery of materials, purchasing or Wide Area Network administration, we have one mission – facilitate the process of our Libraries Working Together. Like a multi dimensional restaurant, TLN is a menu driven library cooperative, offering a wide range of services for member selection. From appetizers to a full course meal, our member libraries select their level of service use. Enjoy our rich array of services as you review our website. Bon appetit and Happy Reading!

"The library connects us with the insight and knowledge, painfully extracted from Nature, of the greatest minds that ever were, with the best teachers, drawn from the entire planet and from all our history, to instruct us without tiring, and to inspire us to make our own contribution to the collective knowledge of the human species. I think the health of our civilization, the depth of our awareness about the underpinnings of our culture and our concern for the future can all be tested by how well we support our libraries."
